# Connect and use Display & Video 360

> Connect Display & Video 360 to Nerve, confirm the correct account or property, and start with a scoped read-only request before broader analysis.

Connect Display & Video 360, also called DV360, to inspect your programmatic advertising structure. Start with the partner and advertiser, then identify the campaign and buying objects.

## Before you connect

Use an identity with access to the relevant DV360 partner and advertiser. Have both names ready so the assistant does not confuse an agency partner with a client advertiser.

## Connect and verify

1. In the intended workspace, open **Get started > Connect accounts**.
2. Find **DV360** and choose **Connect**.
3. Complete the provider sign-in and review the permissions shown. Select an identity with access to the intended partner and advertiser.
4. Back in Nerve, check the connection status and use **Verify** if available.
5. Ask your assistant to list accessible DV360 partners and advertisers before requesting a report.

## What to ask Nerve

Live tool discovery exposes partners, advertisers, campaigns, insertion orders, line items, audiences, channels, and targeting inspection. A useful first task is a structure review. For performance reporting, ask the assistant to check the available reporting tool and its required scope before requesting metrics.

```text theme={null}
List accessible DV360 partners and advertisers. For advertiser
Example Brand, summarize its campaign, insertion-order, and line-item
structure, including available statuses. Explain any inaccessible
objects. Read data only; do not change targeting or delivery.
```

## Check scope and limits

Read the hierarchy as partner, advertiser, campaign, insertion order, and line item. An insertion order and a line item are separate objects. In Nerve AI, use the DV360 account selection when it is available. Do not treat a list of discoverable tools as proof that a particular report or write can run with your permissions.
