# Update your profile, email, and connected sign-in

> Open your personal account settings, review profile and email options, and distinguish a sign-in identity from marketing-platform connections in a workspace.

Your personal account settings control how you identify yourself and sign in to Nerve. Marketing-platform connections are managed separately inside a workspace.

## Open account settings

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of Nerve.
2. Choose **Manage account**.
3. Open **Profile** and review the profile, email, and connected-account sections.

## Update your profile

Use **Update profile** to edit the available profile details. Review the resulting name and image before leaving the account panel.

## Review email addresses

The profile identifies your primary email and offers **Add email**. Follow the verification instructions shown when adding an address. Confirm that you still have access to the email used for invitations and account recovery.

If your goal is to change which address is primary, use the control available for the verified address and review its confirmation. If it is unavailable, ask support rather than creating a second Nerve account with a different address.

## Review connected sign-in

The profile can show a Google account linked for sign-in. This is different from Google Ads, GA4, Google Sheets, or Tag Manager authorization under **Connect accounts**. Changing a personal sign-in method should not be used as a way to select a different advertising account.

Before removing a sign-in method, confirm that another working sign-in and recovery route is available. Use [password and device settings](https://docs.nerve.mattemena.com/workspace-and-account/security.md) for account-security controls.

For a billing-email change or an invitation-address mismatch, [contact support](https://docs.nerve.mattemena.com/support-and-privacy/contact-support.md) with the intended outcome. Do not assume editing a profile email also updates every workspace's billing contact or existing invitation.
