Connect Google Ads to inspect customer accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, and performance. If you use a manager account, identify the client account as well as the manager.

Before you connect

Use a Google identity that can access the relevant Google Ads customer. For an agency, have both the manager account and intended client account names ready.

Connect and verify

  1. In the intended workspace, open Get started > Connect accounts.
  2. Find Google Ads and choose Connect.
  3. Complete the provider sign-in and review the permissions shown. Select an identity with access to the intended customer account.
  4. Back in Nerve, check the connection status and use Verify if available.
  5. Ask your assistant to list accessible Google Ads customers and manager-account clients before requesting a report.

What to ask Nerve

Ask for campaign summaries, search-term performance, keyword opportunities, conversion-action breakdowns, or change history. Available tools also describe campaign, budget, keyword, and ad changes. Supported creation formats differ, so have the assistant check the exact format before preparing a launch.

Check scope and limits

A manager account is a route to client accounts, not necessarily the account whose campaigns you want. If a response is empty, ask which customer and manager context were used. Conversion totals can combine different actions; name the action you consider a business outcome rather than assuming all conversions are sales. If the expected account is missing, use connection troubleshooting. For expired access, see Check or reconnect an account.
