Connect Meta Ads to analyze Facebook and Instagram advertising through Nerve. Start by identifying the ad account, then narrow the request to campaigns, ad sets, ads, or insights.

Before you connect

Have a Meta login with access to the intended ad account. Decide which client and reporting period to use. Access granted to your login and the permissions approved during connection affect the results.

Connect and verify

  1. In the intended workspace, open Get started > Connect accounts.
  2. Find Meta Ads and choose Connect.
  3. Complete the provider sign-in and review the permissions shown. Select an identity with access to the intended ad account.
  4. Back in Nerve, check the connection status and use Verify if available.
  5. Ask your assistant to list accessible Meta ad accounts before requesting a report.

What to ask Nerve

Nerve exposes Meta tasks for campaign, ad set, and ad inspection; performance reporting; and working with creative and audience information. Campaign creation and updates are consequential operations. Start with a read, then review any proposed change separately.

Check scope and limits

Choose the ad account in Nerve AI, or identify it explicitly in an external assistant. An account with no active campaigns may still have paused campaigns and historical results. Ask for the status filter used before concluding it is empty. A Meta connection is not the same as selecting a Facebook Page or Instagram identity for a new ad. If the expected account is missing, use connection troubleshooting. For expired access, see Check or reconnect an account.
